Abstract

|
|
A case of intravenous leiomyomatoss of the uterus occurring in a 38 year old woman is presented, and its pathologic characteristics and pathogenesis are briefly summarized. An unusually increased vasculature of the intravenous leiomyomatous plug is assumed as an additional histologic feature, being much helpful for differential diagnosis paticularly from endolympathic stromasis or its malignant variety.
